We understand that an expert focus in a region helps to guide the overall process and we are looking for an expert in the US, Canada, Australia and NZ regions.
We seek an individual who sees themselves in the following descriptions:
• Can flourish in our unique company culture
• Has worked and lived in at least one of these markets (preferably the US)
• Has worked in entertainment research and is passionate about content
• Lives and breathes primary research - qual and quant
• Loves rolling their sleeves up and diving into projects
• Knows how to design a research project to meet the needs of the marketing question and can determine which methodology best serves the purpose
• Knows how to implement research projects - from the ground up - whether that's setting up focus groups or executing an online survey
• Has had a great deal of experience in moderating focus groups and loves to be in the room with the consumer
• Has had a ton of experience in survey programming or design and knows how to ask the right questions
• Has worked on building creative campaigns
• Has had experience of socialising research findings across different departments - PR, social, creative - and can pivot to the specific needs of each
• Understands the consumer's voice and how to turn what people say into actionable findings - in fact, has a proven track record of turning findings into thoughtful, holistic stories that get to the heart of the opportunity
• Is desperate to show how great insights lead to great strategy which results in real impact to the business
• Is a self-starter, but loves working in a team and wants to avoid a silo environment
Essential qualifications:
• At least 7 yrs of hands-on experience in a market research agency or department (ideally a mix) with at least 5 yrs of that focus on the US
• University Degree, Post Graduate qualifications preferred
• On the ground experience in US through qual research
• Experience presenting / socialising insights at all levels of an organisation (and esp. to non-researchers)
