As we continue our transformation to a next-generation studio and expand our streaming service's global footprint, we need to understand and source the best possible vendors for production and post-production services, localization and media processing around the world.
This position is ideal for someone looking to play a major role in the transformation of the entertainment industry. Netflix desires to build deep and meaningful digital supply-chain relationships with our partners and you will be a part of making that happen. You will play an integral role in making Netflix the most efficient and effective digital platform on which to deliver the assets of our Content Partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Analyze and maintain performance metrics and service capabilities of vendors.
• Collect bids and research potential international vendors and post production companies.
• Implement long-term strategies to evolve the program.
• Work with vendors to articulate and correct service failures or deficiencies.
• Perform consistent outreach regarding Netflix initiatives and changing service needs.
• Conduct regular cross-functional alignment meetings to inform changes and updates to the Netflix Preferred Vendor (NPV) program.
• Plan and organize NPV outreach events.
• Maintain an active database of vendor contacts.
Key Attributes:
• Deep understanding of analytics. Ability to demonstrate metrics to affect behavior.
• History of building vendor and customer relationships.
• Ability to communicate and interact with vendors on a Global level and frame projects with sensitivity to cultural diversity and industrial variation.
• Knowledge of streaming video, audio, metadata, file-based delivery, language dubbing and subtitling.
• Excellent organization, strong project management skills and superior written and oral communication.
• Strong eye for business and ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to think big picture and long-term with regard to establishing strong vendor relations and workflow improvements.
• Experience representing organizations in business settings.
