We are looking to fill a role on our publicity team for a manager of awards. We are looking for a grown up, someone who enjoys aiding in and executing awards campaigns for our series and films. This is a very hands on role, one where we want you to throw the playbook out the window, and push to innovate with us.

The Role
The Manager for Awards will play a key role in aiding and managing the awards piece for our series and film teams, an important facet of our business. They are a member of a small, seasoned group of professionals. The opportunity extends into television and film award campaigns -- with work that ranges from planning and time-lining screening events; coordinating with the Academy of TV Arts & Sciences, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and other guild associations; helping with submission paperwork for different awards; purchasing seats and tables for events, and helping manage guest lists for events. He/she will be able to communicate with filmmakers, talent representatives, agencies, executives and production partners on efforts. They can formulate and manage a budget, and give visibility into their process successfully.
She/he is able to make wise decisions, even when faced with ambiguity and thinks strategically. He/she can articulate what they are - and are not - trying to do. He or she is a good listener and a real doer. They are organized, thorough and not afraid to get their hands dirty - and that will mean jumping in to handle a wide-ranging slew of tasks. Strong candidates can handle a vast amount of work and they are eager to learn. They are curious and also contribute effectively outside of their speciality. A good fit in the role has a candid and direct communication style, they are willing to admit to mistakes quickly and questions values inconsistent with our values.
Qualifications
The successful candidate for Manager, Awards will have 6 years of entertainment experience organizing, planning, executing awards campaigns with an agency, studio or network. He or she will also have experience working on television or film award campaigns, including tastemaker events, screening series, big membership events or all-guild opportunities. They will either have experience working in the awards space or on submission paperwork. BA/BS required.

Reporting Relationship
The Manager, Awards reports will report to the Director, Events and Awards.
