Are you…
...incredibly detail oriented?
...dogged about following-up, following-through, and staying on top of outstanding requests?
...excited to learn about technical applications?
...the kind of individual for whom juggling multiple projects and competing priorities is second-nature?
Then the Project Coordinator role in the Product Creative team may be a perfect fit for you.
Who is Product Creative?
Our team's purpose is to create the most visually compelling discovery experience and connect our members to the content they love. We partner with studios, external creative agencies, and internal cross-functional teams to design and deploy all media representing titles on the Netflix service. We also take creative risks, test what we know to be true, and strive to keep creating new and innovative member experiences through visual assets.
What is the role?
Based from our new office in Hollywood, California, the Project Coordinator for Product Creative supports Producers, Specialists, Designers, and our Innovation team with special, one-off projects. In addition to this, there are multiple large-scale QC and backfill projects that the Project Coordinator will also manage and track for as part of their day-to-day. Thus, no two days may be alike; you will need to be agile and willing to pivot quickly to prioritize new projects, while maintaining status on anything else on your plate. While you will have direction from the Program Manager to target specific projects, goals, and deadlines, you should feel comfortable working autonomously and proactively.
You're typical day may include:
• Understanding quickly the basics of our tools, internal and external partner relationships, and our artwork localization workflow.
• Partnering with the Netflix Globalization and QC teams to proactively identify artwork on the service and, when necessary, assign design requests to have images created or corrected.
• Support for new languages for that we may add to the service.
• Supporting tracking design requests for potential new asset types in the Netflix catalog.
Who is our Ideal Candidate?
• Familiarity with Digital Asset Management systems and workflows.
• Comfortable with workflow tools like JIRA, Confluence, Asana, and the Google Suite of apps.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• 3-4 years of experience working with Marketing, Creative Services, or Product teams.
• Passionate about the creative process for marketing and artwork assets for film and TV.
• Ability to understand, advocate, and embody the company's core values and the Product Creative team goals.
• Fluency in a secondary language a plus but not required.
• Superior project management, organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skill sets.
• Basic user-level experience with Adobe CC (Photoshop, Bridge, and In-Design) apps.
• Background ( 1 year) in art design, art direction, or UX design a plus.
