Native Instruments is looking for an experienced, creative and energetic personality to take a leading role in the Native Instruments Marketing Team at the Berlin headquarters. You will be responsible for driving the communication of an outstanding software and hardware product portfolio. Together with a multi-disciplinary team and external agencies, you will design and realize worldwide campaigns.
You are a talented strategist, a strong communicator and an experienced team-leader. Your passion for music, entrepreneurial spirit and creative thinking will advance product marketing at Native Instruments. In this position you will report directly to the Director of Product Marketing.
YOUR TASKS
+ Create annual and quarterly marketing strategies
+ Motivate, inspire, and develop your multi-disciplinary team of marketing managers, product specialists, copywriters, designers and video producers
+ Plan, drive, and deploy marketing initiatives worldwide
+ Take full responsibility for the budgets, quality, and timing of campaigns
+ Collaborate closely with other internal marketing teams in Berlin, Los Angeles, London, Paris and Tokyo, and external agencies and partners implementing the initiatives (Online Marketing, Print, Events, Artist Relations, Press, Social Media, and Channel Marketing)
+ Stay in close contact with artists, clubs, labels, and key players in the industry
+ Work with the Product teams to help shape the NI product portfolio and contribute to company strategy
+ Stay on top of market developments, market research, and innovations in related fields such as music delivery, artist promotion and music creation
+ Understand and predict competitors' products and services
+ Immerse yourself in the music scene - in Berlin and worldwide
YOUR PROFILE
+ You have a proven track record as a team-leader, creating strategies and executing successful marketing campaigns
+ You have at least 5 years marketing experience with agencies, clubs, labels, instrument manufacturers or similar music industry-related jobs
+ You have a deep understanding of music production and the music instruments market
+ You have a passion for and deep knowledge of music culture and pop music history
+ You are a highly creative and at the same time an analytical thinker
+ You have strong organizational and planning skills
+ You are an excellent communicator and networker
+ An existing network in the industry is a plus
+ You have strong presentation skills, you are a convincing speaker, and you are able to negotiate and close deals
+ You have an entrepreneurial spirit and you are eager to explore new avenues and opportunities
+ Excellent English is a must, German is a plus
+ Available to travel
MARKETING AT NATIVE INSTRUMENTS
The Marketing team at Native Instruments consists of over 50 staff worldwide - all dedicated to making sure the company's products are properly presented and explained to the outside world. Creating excitement and demand is the name of the game, with the Native Instruments website and newsletter as central tools of communication. The Marketing team looks both after strategic and conceptual aspects of branding and market communication, as well as creative aspects like video production, graphic and web design, and copywriting. Marketing is also responsible for PR tasks like press and artist relations, events, and social media / community management.
