Entry level position in NBAE Programming unit. Requires candidate interested in the business side of managing programming relationships and sponsored content initiatives.
Major Responsibilities
• Assist division director with coordination of sponsored content initiatives (involves working with production and marketing partnerships/business development teams)
• Assist research efforts in support of potential new programming relationships.
• Assist with managing current network partner programming relationships (primarly ESPN and NBA Digital).
• Department Organization
Required Skills/Knowledge
• Familiarity with current TV and digital programming/pop culture trends a plus.
• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel
• Ability to research effectively on the internet.
• Must be strong communicator (both verbal and written).
Experience Needed
• Previous experience in TV and/or digital production/programming environment ideal.
Educational Background Required
• Bachelor’s degree required. Areas such as Broadcasting/TV or Film Production, especially if paired with any level of Business/Sales concentration preferred.
