Full Time Job
The Producer/Editor creates original content for National Geographic's digital and social branded platforms with particular focus on video content related to our Magazine stories. This includes, but is not limited to, developing, producing, and editing stories integrating photos, videos, and articles across NGP divisions. The Producer/Editor works closely with a Director of Social-Digital Video and the Social Team on creating content that is platform first. The Producer/Editor also keeps track of data and curate the content in according to trends and audience needs. This role supports the Director of Social-Digital Video to ensure all content resonates with the social and digital audiences.
Responsibilities
• Write, produce and edit video to be uploaded to Magazine Facebook.
• Develop new content for Magazine Facebook.
• Keep up with industry trends and NGP Facebook data analysis to constantly iterate and evolve storytelling techniques.
• Keep documentation, legal binders, and submit liscensing requests.
• On-Location filming or coordinating shoots with freelancers.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor in Film, Video Production, New Media, Communications, Digital Art, Designs is required.
• At least six years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop – Graphic programs.
