POSITION DETAILS
NUVOtv is currently seeking an exceptional Media Sales Assistant reporting to the VP of Ad Sales in LA and Chicago. NUVOtv has acquired Fuse TV. This is a newly created role and will support the LA and Chicago, NUVOtv/Fuse TV offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Assist in the preparation of sales materials and projects
• Track and retain sales reports as needed by the Sales Planner, Account Director and VP
• Maintain contact with company's clients, advertising agency partners, as well as internal teams
• Assist Sales Planners within the teams as needed
• Help to resolve billing discrepancies
• Write up and process sales orders and contracts, i.e. Upfront and scatter order entry
• Distribute promotional materials as needed
• Provide clients with any information on scheduling or programming changes
• Timely delivery of advertiser schedules/flowcharts
• Input of all inventory adds, deletes and moves per P&P, and/or Traffic
• Responsible for branding, allocations, flighting and restrictions within all deals
• Support team with various sales projects
• Communicates daily with traffic, P&P, Marketing and Sales departments internally.
• Most importantly, track and maintain all deals within Gabriel and Deal Maker system
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related-field preferred
• 1 year of experience in a media company, broadcast station, rep firm or advertising agency preferred
• PC savvy; Experience and expertise with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Superior communications skills: phone verbal and written.
• Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt and meet deadlines
• Must be flexible and willing to work overtime
• Must have attention to detail.
