CONTROL ROOM BROADCAST ENGINEER
NTT, INC. SAN FRANCISCO, CA.
Job Description
NTT has a part-time position open starting December 2015 for a part-time Control Room Broadcast Engineer. NTT provides broadcasting and webcasting of government meetings. A minimum of 20 hours per week will be paid, with additional hours available. Compensation shall be commensurate with experience. The location of this assignment will be the San Francisco area.

The Control Room Broadcast Engineer will provide mission critical technical support for each broadcast meeting and leadership for upgrades, expansions, system administration, maintenance and failure recovery for the Production.
Qualifications:
• Has robust knowledge and understanding of Live HD Studio productions, Telemetrics camera control systems, Sony broadcast cameras Chyron Character Generators, broadcast production switchers, digital recording solutions, and audio mixers/levels.
• Willingness to explore and design new technically to support future broadcast standards.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Broadcast systems.
• Deep understanding of broadcast diagrams and drawings.
• Experience with broadcast/production equipment including tape machines, displays, routers, rasterizers, and other peripherals
• Must have strong technical skills and be self-motivated/resourceful to continually grow core competency.
• Strong understanding of Apple OS X, Microsoft Windows 7 and Server Operating Systems.
• Must have excellent documentation and communication skills to facilitate effective results with staff and technology providers.
• Ability work quickly and effectively under the pressure of a live broadcast.
Responsibilities:
• To Successfully engineer 3-5 government meetings per week.
• Proficient at communicating both problems and solutions to technical and non-technical personnel alike and will help develop new processes, technologies and techniques which will help to improve the running of the facility.
• Work with external providers to resolve technical and workflow issues with provided equipment and systems.
• Development and implementation of a routine preventative maintenance program, including software and hardware updates as needed.
• Project oversight to ensure timelines are meet and issues are solved quickly.
