Role Summary
NBCUniversal is seeking candidates who are interested in building a career in Talent Development within the fast-paced media and entertainment business. This position will support our enterprise-wide talent development strategy, including the design and delivery of talent management/organizational development solutions, uniquely NBCUniversal leadership development programs, and strategic consultations for specific businesses.
In order to be successful, this Specialist must possess sophisticated project and process management skills and effectively partner with internal stakeholders in implementing large-scale solutions across the enterprise. Additionally, this individual must be able to communicate and facilitate with credibility and poise across all levels of NBCUniversal – representing the newly launched ''NBCUniversal Talent Lab'' with both media and functional savvy.
This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative, creative and entrepreneurial Talent Development team in a high volume growth state for the newly integrated Comcast-NBCUniversal organization. This role is based in New York City and reports to the Director of Talent Development.
Responsibilities
• Support the roll-out of enterprise-wide talent practices – e.g., performance management, employee survey, talent reviews/succession planning process – including the management of project plans and close partnership with Human Resources and other internal stakeholders
• Design, develop, and/or update training content for Talent Development experiences including PowerPoint presentations, participant materials and exercises/activities
• Track and analyze learning analytics, including the Talent Lab dashboard, identifying improvement areas for learning experiences at NBCUniversal
• Contribute to marketing and communications efforts, so that clients understand the portfolio of available offerings. Leverage technology and social media where appropriate
• Provide in-person facilitation for select populations, including new hires and leaders of people
• Support performance consulting engagements with internal clients, including conducting needs analysis, assessing gaps and providing performance solutions tailored to specific business need
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in leadership development, talent management processes, and designing, developing and delivering talent programs

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
• Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or an MBA is strongly preferred
• Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Experience delivering results in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Experience within the media/entertainment industry
• Strong project management skills, analytical abilities and general business acumen
• Demonstrated proficiency in program design and facilitation, both face-to-face and virtual experiences (webcasts, podcasts, etc.)
• Proactive and a self-starter attitude – willing to ''roll up sleeves'' and work on details
• Strong consulting and project management experience – ability to manage multiple work steams
• Experience with digital media, social networking and collaboration tools to enhance learning
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders
