Position Overview
As part of NBCU's on-going effort to establish a full-service in-house executive search function, the Senior Consultant, Hispanic Media and Latin America, will be responsible for supporting a U.S. domestic and international media and entertainment search consulting practice that provides best-in-class executive recruitment and talent management services to NBCUniversal's family of businesses. The Senior Consultant will focus on NBCU's expanding Hispanic Enterprises including Telemundo, Universo, NBCUniversal International's growing footprint within Latin America and also provide support for the U.S. executive search team as needed.
Responsibilities
• Support, build and maintain NBCU's executive search presence throughout the portfolio with a strong focus on Hispanic Enterprises and Latin America business initiatives
• Develop and execute highly-tailored executive recruitment strategies in service of NBCU's brand portfolio, business segments and initiatives
• Manage hands-on execution of targeted high-level searches related to all executive level positions across the company's internal client base
• Pro-actively develop executive-level relationships across multiple lines of business categories within the Latin American media markets. Travel to those markets as needed to expand and deepen NBCU's executive search presence
• Guide the strategy and execution of real-time talent pipelines, partnering with talent management, HR leaders as well as the external open market
• Successfully act as advisor, business partner and subject-matter-expert in media and entertainment with participating client divisions, human resources partners and business leaders, aiming to provide a seamless and high touch executive search experience
• Work seamlessly and collaboratively with all members of the U.S. NBCU executive search team, ensuring the highest discretion and confidentiality
• Evaluate and track recruitment metrics to include statistics on: time-to-fill, candidate volume and talent pool depth, resource allocation/utilization, cost savings, source of hire and client satisfaction, among other deliverables
• Support the U.S. Director, Research, and research team with up-to-date candidate and market information, continuously contributing to a best-in-class content management system
• Represent NBCU as a highly coveted and sought-after employer in the market place
• Act as an ambassador for NBCU's overall commitment to diversity and inclusion as a core value and business imperative
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Basic Characteristics
• Minimum of 5 years relevant full-service executive search execution experience
• Demonstrated success in managing a full-cycle search process within a top-tier consulting firm; or demonstrated success managing a robust internal executive level recruiting function within a company
• Exceptional track record of executive search execution, combined with analytical, strategic and problem solving skills
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
• Recruitment experience within a media and entertainment practice of a top-tier consulting firm; or a diversified media and entertainment or technology/digital media company
• Strong knowledge of the U.S. domestic Hispanic media space as well as Latin America with previously established relationships internationally in media and entertainment
• Meticulous, yet able to multi-task effortlessly
• Excellent time management and follow-up skills paramount to perform in a multi-client, fast paced, frequently pressurized and frenetic environment
• Ability to form strategic business partnerships internally and externally with multiple stakeholders, including senior line management, corporate and divisional human resource executives and other internal or external project based stake holders
• Strong business acumen and organizational savvy necessary to understand and anticipate future business and talent needs
• Subject matter expert in media and entertainment specifically around key players/first movers in the industry, functional business drivers and disciplines; proven ability to assess the competitive landscape and spot organizational and industry trends
• Skilled at guiding a market research and intelligence function; ability to capture and synthesize large volumes of market and talent information for consumption by senior management and business owners
• Superior written and oral communication skills necessary for candidate interviewing and assessment, client correspondence, project documentation, and status reporting
• Knowledge of Affirmative Action, EEO, guidelines on employee selection and employee relations issues relative to the recruitment process
