PURPOSE:
Manage department that programs and delivers E!, Style & G4 new media content for various outlets, including but not limited to: broadband partners, wireless carriers, web and mobile application products, cable video-on-demand partners, download to own partners, authenticated streaming partners and others.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and lead staff to guarantee timely and accurate programming and delivery of E!, Style and G4 new media content to internal sites and external partners
• Manage programming and trafficking for specialty platforms, specifically download to own storefronts, apps and more
• Oversee staff that handles new media metadata for short-form content appearing on internal sites for E!, Style and G4 as well as numerous external partner sites, focusing on news content which requires a quick turnaround. Create and edit team's text to ensure compelling copy and accurate metadata, and be ready to pitch in with daily workload
• Oversee and assist in the development of weekly schedules for new media content for internal properties and external partners
• Along with department Director, work with online editorial staffs, marketing solutions groups, new media production and other departments to execute video components of new linear shows, specialty micro-sites and more
• Along with department Director, oversee and coordinate launches of programming with new partners
• Be able to troubleshoot new media issues with technical teams when they arise
• Additional tasks as assigned
• Remote coverage will be required. Some weekend and late-night hours needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 2 years experience in New Media Programming or similar experience
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to work weekends and late-night hours as needed
• Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered
• Must be willing to take and submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

• Must possess understanding of New Media space and its ever-changing content needs and technologies
• Some knowledge of content management systems, and willingness to learn about technological issues that arise in the new media space
