Role Summary
It is an exciting time to join NBCUniversal and we are searching for candidates interested in managing NBCUniversal's premier early career development experience in media, the NBCUniversal Page Program. Starting in 1933, the NBCUniversal Page Program is the most prestigious program that has served as a primary pipeline to entry level positions. This new role will have the unique opportunity to support and implement the strategy of a structured, rotational experience that aligns to the future-focus needs of NBCUniversal.
In order to be successful the Manager must be able to work in inherent complexity across multiple business and disciplines, be detail-oriented with strong communication skills, planning and project management skills. It will be necessary for potential candidates to be highly analytical with a focus on metrics to identify plans and measure results. Additionally this individual must be able to build relationships at various levels and effectively partner with business leaders and Human Resources.
This is a unique opportunity to join a fun, collaborative, creative and entrepreneurial team. The role is based in New York and reports to the Page Program East Coast Experience Lead.
Responsibilities
• Project manage the Page lifecycle including: recruiting, hiring, learning labs, assignment placement and overall job placement
• Manage the execution of communication plans, recruiting and hiring, assignment management, and training that address business needs and align to the NBCUniversal Page Program strategy and brand
• Conduct and support performance management and talent management of Pages throughout rotational experience to appraise the quality and effectiveness of contribution and work, prepare metrics, recommend changes and/or coaching development as needed
• Manage assignment expectations for both the Page and the Assignment Supervisor including:
• Learning experiences and alignment with assignments (applicability to the job)
• Conducting Supervisor training
• Facilitate learning experiences, including but not limited to:
• Orientation
• Presentation Skills
• Finance 101
• Media 101
• Coach and support Assignment Supervisors throughout the rotational experience
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required: MBA or Master's degree in related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources or related field
• Strong project management, analytical abilities and business acumen
• Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Experience with digital media, social networking and collaboration tools as a way to enhance learning

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
• Experience delivering results in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Experience within the media/entertainment industry is a plus
• Demonstrated proficiency in program design and facilitation, both face to face and virtual experiences (webcasts, podcasts, etc.)
• Experience supporting rotational programs
• Proactive and a self-starter attitude – willing to ''roll up sleeves'' and work on details
• Strong consulting and project management experience – ability to manage multiple work steams
