Role Summary
NBCUniversal is seeking candidates who are interested in building a career in Talent Development within the fast-paced media and entertainment business. This position will help manage our enterprise-wide talent development strategy, including the design and delivery of talent management/organizational development solutions, uniquely NBCUniversal leadership development programs, and strategic consultations for specific businesses.
In order to be successful, the Manager must possess strong business acumen, sophisticated project management skills, subject matter expertise, and effectively partner with internal, key stakeholders in implementing large-scale solutions across the enterprise. Additionally, this individual must be able to build relationships and facilitate with credibility and poise across all levels of NBCUniversal – representing the ''NBCUniversal Talent Lab'' brand with both media and functional savvy.
This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative, creative and entrepreneurial Talent Development team in a high volume growth state for the newly integrated Comcast-NBCUniversal organization. This role is based in Universal City and reports to the Director of Talent Development.
Responsibilities
• Manage development and delivery of leadership programs/solutions, including: project management, indirect leadership, manage execution, promote team work and share best practices
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders while building relationships within the HR community (including senior leaders)
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in instructional design and delivery, including: define, design and facilitate content
• Participate in coaching and consulting engagements as needed across NBCUniversal
• Demonstrate needs assessment skills and the ability to help clients problem solve
• Provide real-time advice to leaders, support talent-in-the-moment
• Demonstrate and apply business acumen to emphasize impact and tie back to the big picture
• Interpret and deliver leadership assessment results, such as: DiSC, PDI Profilor, Teambuilders, etc
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership development, talent management processes, and success in designing, planning and delivering talent programs
• Strong project management, analytical abilities and business acumen
• Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Power Point

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
• Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology OR an MBA is strongly preferred
• Experience delivering results in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Experience within the media/entertainment industry is a plus
• Demonstrated proficiency in program design and facilitation, both face to face and virtual experiences (webcasts, podcasts, etc.)
• Proactive and a self-starter attitude – willing to ''roll up sleeves'' and work on details
• Strong consulting and project management experience – ability to manage multiple work steams
• Experience with digital media, social networking and collaboration tools as a way to enhance learning
