Role Summary
Provide Human Resource support for 250 multi-function employees within NBCUniversal's Technology organization, within the Operations & Technical Services Division (O&TS) in Los Angeles, California.
Responsibilities
Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provide broad locational HR support for Technology organization, participate in and lead division and corporate HR initiatives
• Drive strategic HR-related planning, organization design & integration, staffing, compensation planning, manager coaching, employee development, compliance and performance management for non-represented workforce.
• Manage key HR initiatives, including: performance management, organization planning, compensation planning and training and development
• Provide HR leadership to employees and managers regarding employee relations issues. Assume leadership role in resolving employee relations issues and associated leadership coaching
• Work to resolve employee and organizational issues in a proactive and positive manner
• Interpret and implement HR policies, practices and procedures for managers, teams and individual employees that further the mission, values, and strategic vision of the business
• Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment, which encourages the full use of diverse talents and abilities; act as an employee advocate
• Manage staffing process, working with clients and talent acquisition partners to identify recruitment strategies as well as ensure diverse candidates slates and top quality candidate selection
• Work closely and partner with several HR leaders to ensure consistent HR practices across Technology and O&TS
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Related field of Study
• Minimum three years relevant HR experience including recruiting, employee development, organizational development, compliance and compensation

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
• Master's degree in HR
• Strong business acumen, analytical and project management skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong client-support orientation, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and with a wide range of clients, individually, and in groups
• Demonstrated coaching/mentoring/leadership skills; change agent; results orientation; high energy; comfortable handling multiple tasks and competing priorities
• Strong employee-relations skill set; can earn trust and credibility with leaders and employees in assigned groups
• SPHR certification
• Previous experience with technical workforce
• Demonstrated ability to translate 'big picture' business strategy into an HR plan, which can be executed
• Project and process management skills, demonstrated track record of delivering results
• Previous experience in the technology sector or cable, television, or entertainment industry
