NBCUniversal (NJ) seeks a LAWYER for a full-time one-year engagement as a Law Clerk for the NBCU News Group Legal Department. The position is in Englewood Cliffs, NJ (transportation to and from NYC available via shuttle service) to start as soon as possible. CANDIDATE MUST HAVE PASSED A BAR EXAM AND HAVE PRACTICED LAW FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS AFTER GRADUATION. Experience with Entertainment/Production, Media Law, and Corporate Transactions is strongly preferred. The clerk will assist in a variety of production legal and corporate transactional matters including the following: reviewing diligence reports for reality participants; evaluating insurance coverage; drafting releases, location agreements, production services agreements and other television production documents; assisting in the drafting of NDAs, master services agreements and other digital/technology agreements; and providing research and other assistance on various projects as needed. Compensation for the position is $25 per hour for 40 hours per week.
