Role Purpose
The HR Assistant will perform a broad range of HR client support activities for the Corporate Functions HR team at NBCUniversal including employee interaction, Human Resources administration and project work. This position is also responsible for interfacing & problem solving with a number of business partners including Talent Acquisition, Finance, Benefits, Payroll & HRIS. This position will also manage administrative support for the Corporate Functions HR team including processing workflows, setting up meetings and maintaining distribution lists.
Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support for the team including travel arrangements, answering phones, maintaining calendars, expenses, etc.
• Schedule meetings, maintain distribution list, shared drives, and provide general office support as needed
• Plan and implement logistics for meetings, events, roundtables, including room reservations and technology set-up
• Handle SAP HR transactions including onboarding, terminations, workflow forms, & data validation exercises as assigned
• Answer and/or refer employee questions about Payroll, Benefits, Work/Life, Employee Perks, paid time off, company policies, etc.
• Run regular and ad hoc reports from HR systems in support of both the human resources and finance teams
• Maintain and update departmental org charts
• Assist in training, recruitment efforts, resume screening, and potentially interviewing
• Maintain personnel files working with NBCU Document Management
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with Microsoft Excel is required
