Director, Promo Planning and Activation - E! Network
JOB PURPOSE:
To plan, supervise & maintain promo scheduling for Style and/or E! On-Air Promotions.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities may include:
• To oversee the scheduling of daily promo logs for E!
• Work with On-Air Promotions to request various creative executions & spot lengths with attention to completion and schedule dates
• Work with On Air Design to order, plan and schedule lower thirds and bugs.
• Supervise a Scheduling Coordinator & Scheduling Assistant in order to organize and maintain all promo needs for Scheduling team daily
• Assist with department operations and efficiencies
• Additional duties as needed and assigned by supervisor
• Maintain department priorities grid
• Enter Grip It GRP plan for each week based on supervisors media plans
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 3 years previous Promo Scheduling or like experience; Broadcast/Cable preferred.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered
• Must be willing to take and submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:
• Individual must be a strong team manager as well as team player, able to handle multiple tasks, extremely organized, accurate, responsible, flexible, diplomatic and able to work well under pressure.
• Must be proficient with Scheduling Software well as Excel and Outlook
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact professionally with all levels.
