Role Summary
The QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring data quality is met by producing frequent audits/reports and validating against defined transactional policies. Corrective actions will be determined and communicated to the HR Community for swift resolution. The QA Analyst will collect and analyze HR related data and metrics to identify important trends and ensures that data is accurate and presented in a clear, concise and relevant manner to key stakeholders. This position will report to the Director, HR Operations.
Responsibilities:
• Accountable for delivery of all HR integrity audits/metrics weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly and/or annually
• Distributes data integrity defects to HR Community for resolution
• Delivers a range of analysis activities – data extraction, synthesis of data and recommendations
• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR Operations team and HR Community group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
• Creates persuasive presentations that tell a story using visual representations of data through graphs, charts and models
• Assists in ad hoc projects that require the analysis of data and metrics, as well as other assignments
• Routinely assists with SOX compliance audits and audit observations
• Provides back up support to Reporting Analyst, utilizing Ad Hoc and Business Object reporting tool as required
• Participates, as required, in User Acceptance Testing
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 1 year of HR Data Systems experience, preferably SAP HCM ECC 6.0
• Minimum 1 year of experience in developing and analyzing metrics
• Minimum 1 year of experience using SAP Business Objects or related data warehouse reporting tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
• Understanding of PA/OM data structures/infotypes
• General competency of using basic reporting tools including ability to extract, format and distribute relevant HR data
• Ability to identify data integrity issues and the impact to the other areas (i.e. payroll, benefits, etc).
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of data, identify key trends and present findings in a logical and concise manner
• Ability to help generate relevant metrics to further business and HR strategic initiatives and priorities
• Robust Analytical strength, problem-solving, prioritization and customer service skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain data and metrics to a non-technical audience
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure and to meet deadlines
• Strong decision making skills and ability to use professional judgment
• Flexibility and adaptability in performing work duties
