NBCUniversal seeks a lawyer for a full-time one-year engagement as a Law Clerk for the NBCU News Group Legal Department. The position is based at CNBC in Englewood Cliffs, NJ (transportation to and from NYC available via a free shuttle service). JD and bar admission required. At least one year of legal practice after graduation with experience at a law firm or in-house counsel role in Entertainment/Production Business & Legal Affairs, Media Law, and/or Digital & Technology Commercial Transactions is strongly preferred. The Law Clerk will assist NBCU attorneys in a variety of production legal and general corporate transactional matters including the following: drafting releases, location agreements, production services agreements and other television production documents; drafting digital/technology vendor agreements and non-disclosure agreements, and documenting related transactional relationships; and providing research and other assistance on various projects as needed. Compensation is $30 per hour for 40 hours per week. Position starts in or around September 2017.
