Role Purpose
The role purpose of a Producer-Editor is to oversee production and execution of marketing and promotional campaigns and sales presentations for selected sports properties.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Creative Director and Writer/Producers to create compelling advertising for broadcast air, from concept execution to final delivery
• Manage assigned campaigns through the production process - shooting, editing, graphic production, music direction, post production, audio sweetening and delivery to air
• Solid knowledge, understanding and ability to execute the latest techniques in editing and a strong esthetic sensibility
• Liaison between marketing and external production companies
• Maintain reel logs and Avid/FC project structure
• Manipulate and handle graphics in Avid and Final Cut Pro
• Working knowledge of top production companies, trends and techniques
• Offline editorial, as well as online finishing and spot layoff, including audio preparation and final layback
• Work closely with internal and freelance video editors, mixers and voice over talent
• Proactively offer and communicate new ideas to take the network forward
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum five (5) years' experience working at a network or broadcast design agency cutting on-air promos, interstitials, and marketing materials
Additional Qualifications
• Must be able to produce, write and edit within tight deadlines
• Must be able to run both highly creative and highly technical edit sessions
• Expert in Avid, Final Cut Pro and creative production process
• Working knowledge of After Effects
• Must be efficient and possess the ability to lead the editorial process (offline & online) technically and creatively
Eligibility Requirements
• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
• Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older

• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
• Skilled communicator, both written and verbal
