Role Summary
It is an exciting time to join NBCUniversal and we are searching for candidates interested in managing NBCUniversal's premier early career development experience in media, the NBCUniversal Page Program. Starting in 1933, the prestigious NBCUniversal Page Program serves as a primary pipeline to entry level positions. This new Page Program Coordinator role will have the unique opportunity to support the strategy and implementation of a structured, rotational experience that aligns to the future-focus needs of NBCUniversal.
In order to be successful, the Page Program Coordinator should possess strong project management skills, a keen attention to detail, and be able to juggle multiple responsibilities at once. Additionally, this individual must work well in a fast paced environment and think quickly on their feet, all while continuing to be an ambassador of the program and of NBCUniversal.
This is a unique opportunity to join a fun, collaborative, creative and entrepreneurial team. The role is based in Universal City and reports to the Manager, West Coast Page Program.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for overseeing and managing Page rotational assignment process and calendar, ensuring assignments transition smoothly from business to business.
• Partner with Manager on all stages of Page Recruitment, including screening resumes, administering video interviews, setting up and helping to facilitate in person panel interviews and tracking referrals and intern candidates.
• Work closely with Page Program Manager to oversee quarterly Campus 2 Career / Page Pipeline process, including tracking and selection of potential intern candidates
• Partner with Page Program Manager in setting up and handling logistics for regular Page Program development Labs / Training
• Facilitate Page transition process post program including scheduling exit interviews, processing terminations, collecting exit forms and uniforms.
• Assist when necessary in the ''Graduation & Placement'' period for pages – helping them identify post-program staff opportunities and providing career coaching
• Partner with Program management and current Pages with social media initiatives
• Work with business leaders and assignment supervisors to collect all assignment evaluations from Pages and Assignment Supervisors
• Manage and maintain the Page Office facility, home of the Pages (e.g., office supplies, Facility needs, IT needs, etc.)
• Manage Timekeeper including tracking vacation days and editing hours as needed – answer any Page questions as it relates to Paid Time Off, Sick Days, payroll, logging time, etc.
• Oversee internal Page App --- manage inputting regular information / updates / data
• Assist the Onboarding process for Pages – including processing offer letters and background checks, entering employee data into SAP and verifying GPA requirements
• Assist Page team with various projects and company initiatives as needed
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources or related field
• Strong project management and analytical abilities
• Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
