Full Time Job
Serves as the Talent Development generalist providing impactful learning experiences and resources to build individual, team and leadership competence and confidence and safe work practices for assigned Back of the House departments. Is a strategic partner who assists their business partners in identifying barriers/root causes to performance and provides/recommends and executes targeted business solutions Creates and facilitates Leadership Development curriculum and interventions as dictated by thorough needs assessment, aligned with business needs.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Designs, delivers and facilitates synchronous and asynchronous training and development programs, in the areas professional, leadership and team development. Sources external subject matter expert resources, as appropriate, to close specific skill gaps. Designs and customizes program materials; including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, presentations, job aids. Researches and customizes new learning solutions, not limited to instructor-led and online learning modules.
• Provides performance consulting services to assigned client group. Works closely with senior business leaders to identify gaps in productivity, performance and service, recommends targeted business solutions to build individual and team competence, builds impactful programs/processes that link to individual development, increased business performance, employee satisfaction and brand essence and leads and measures their successful execution. Supports clients in maintaining all safety/compliance training requirements.
• Ensures training materials are updated, relevant and support current Standard Operating Procedures. Incorporates measurement and assessment tools to support all training.
• Partners and supports client with special events and initiatives
• Partners with Organizational Development and Human Resources Field Teams in the communication, coordination and support of the globalized TSAT and 360 degree feedback processes throughout Universal Orlando. Collaborates to communicate timelines, needs and pertinent information for increased organizational and individual development. Supports analysis of data to recommend learning needs to the appropriate client group and global leadership.
• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• Tact/diplomacy/consultative skills required.
• Leadership/staff development skills required.
• Ability to work with all levels of leaders from the organization required.
• Ability to measure performance improvement required.
• Experience developing training strategies
• Leadership and Team Building capabilities
• Exceptional facilitation and organizational skills
• Ability to influence others without authority
• Excellent in presentation, facilitation, communication and negotiation.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Education, Instructional Design or related field required.
EXPERIENCE: 5 to 7 years' experience in training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience providing adult education programs in a corporate environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
