Role Summary:
Working into the HR Director and covering the LatAm territory, the HR Manager will provide end to end HR support for the employees based in Miami and the region. This will include the full spectrum of HR activities – recruitment, employee relations, training, reward / benefits & organizational design.
Responsibilities:
• Recruitment and Onboarding – work with hiring managers, HRD and talent acquisition team to identify and onboard top talent for Miami and local offices; be the key point of contact before and during first few months to ensure effective onboarding
• Induction – run induction process for Miami and local offices; deliver continuous improvement on induction program
• Reward and Benefits – work with central reward and benefits team to investigate and implement any local changes required; help set-up new programs
• Training – ensure all new employees fulfil NBCU training requirements. Set-up and run ad-hoc training (i.e. HR systems, recruitment, performance management) as and when required
• Employee Relations - support HRD with high-level employee relations issues; manage more junior employee relations issues directly; provide coaching to managers through the process. Partner with Corporate Employment Law team to ensure risk is mitigated.
• New office set-up – support HRD with any new office set-up across the region, including creation of HR policies and procedures. Work with HRD and leaders to establish culture for new offices / teams
• Provide onsite HR support for Miami & local offices – serve as main point of contact for all benefits, payroll, employee relations issues
• Onsite employee events – work with employee led teams to ensure successful delivery of onsite and offsite employee events; i.e. health fairs, volunteering opportunities, career development workshops, seminars, etc.
• Policies and Procedures - interpret and implement HR policies, practices and procedures when questions arise (vacation, maternity leave, etc.)
• NBCU-wide initiatives – support in rolling out corporate initiatives locally; tailor material as and when required
• Employee engagement - work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment, which encourages the full use of diverse talents and abilities, act as employee advocate
• Guidance / Coaching - offer guidance and counseling to employees concerning work-related issues and work to resolve issues in a proactive and positive manner
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field of study
• Minimum 5 years of relevant HR partnering experience including recruiting, performance management, salary planning, organizational development
• Experience in one or multiple Latin American countries
• Fluent in English and Spanish language
• Project Management Experience

• Experience with SAP and Brassring a plus
