Responsibilities The Human Resources Manager will support the CA based Corporate Legal division. S/he will have responsibility for directly supporting Executive level clients, providing strategic input into organization design, managing employee relations issues, ensuring a robust talent pipeline, leading the performance management process, compensation planning, succession planning and all other HR initiatives for this population. This role will report directly into the Director, HR Corporate Functions.
Job Duties
• Provide HR generalist support for the CA based Corporate Legal division
• Collaborate with various business leaders to design and implement employee development programs
• Partner closely with the functional leaders to manage strategic initiatives for the corporate functions, including: employee engagement, retention, compensation/title analyses, employee relations matters, organizational structuring, and career development & diversity programs
• Manage all day-to-day HR responsibilities, including: salary/bonus planning, staffing, off-boarding, performance management, reporting/analytics
• Partner with Director, HR to support Executives and their teams on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent enforcement of policies and practices
• Act as liaison between clients and core staff functions by assisting with rolling out new company/HR initiatives and communicating information relating to career development, recognition programs, payroll, benefits, training and staffing
• Mentor and provide guidance to professional staff related to their career goals Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• 5 years working within the HR function

• Thorough knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with HR information systems, such as SAP
