Responsibilities Role Purpose
The HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the HR team with data reporting, analysis, transactions and special projects. The HR Coordinator will compile reports, analyze and synthesize data in order to communicate key metrics and identify areas of opportunity. This position will report to the VP, HR Telemundo Enterprise.
Responsibilities
• Acquire and maintain expertise in systems (SAP, BW, euHReka), processes and security to enable accurate reporting. Serve as a primary user of these HR systems.
• Ensure accurate and timely input of employee data and effective reporting
• Regularly audit employee data for consistency, accuracy, and updates
• Manage report requests, ensure validity of reporting results and identify efficient reporting rhythm to get ahead of requests
• Compile reports and analyze trends and metrics to best tell the story behind the data
• Act as centralized resource to compile all organizational development requests (talent nominations, diversity reporting, etc.)
• Assist in staffing process, working with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to identify recruitment strategies ensuring diverse candidate slates
• Post job openings and track applicants in compliance with FCC and OFCCP requirements.
• Assist with the hiring and on-boarding process for incoming employees
• Respond to employee inquiries and provide assistance as required
• Work with HR Connection to research and resolve payroll and benefits issues
• Assist with disability leaves of absence and workers' compensation claims
• Assist in coordination and oversight of the intern and pipeline programs
• Assist in organizing and executing employee engagement events
• Conduct employee training as required, including new hire orientation
• Coordinate and oversee projects as required Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong interest in Human Resources
• Minimum 1 year experience in data handling (e.g. report writing, data analysis, research)
• Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint including the ability to use v-lookup and other comparison functions for mass amounts of data

• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be fluent in Spanish (speak, read & write) Desired Characteristics
• 1 year of HR or related experience in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with SAP and Business Warehouse
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Highly resourceful and organized with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
• Extremely flexible; ability to easily shift priorities; can-do attitude in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-oriented individual with problem solving skills
• Ability to handle a heavy workload, prioritize work and meet deadlines
