Responsibilities Role Purpose
The HR Coordinator will perform a broad range of client support activities for several departments within NBC Sports and NBC Sports Network, including employee interaction, Human Resources administration, and project work. This position will provide HR administrative and transactional support for approximately 400 employees.
Responsibilities
• Onboard staff and PEP employees in applicable HR systems
• Process data changes, promotions, timekeeper actions, and termination paperwork
• Serve as primary user for all HR systems: SAP, Business Warehouse, Timekeeper, etc.
• Act as the point person for the team for all benefits, payroll, and disability issues
• Prepare job descriptions for open positions, and post open jobs
• Respond to routine HR questions including, but not limited to benefits, payroll, vacation or redirect employees to appropriate contacts
• Keep apprised & updated on new regulations, company policies & procedures
• Timely and respectfully handling of employee inquiries
• Participate in, and support key HR initiatives, including performance management, succession planning & compensation planning
• Responsible for interview and meeting coordination, general correspondence, presentation preparation and other administrative responsibilities as needed
• Work on special assignments and projects, as assigned Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications
• BA/BS in Human Resources or related field
• Minimum 2 years administrative experience, preferably supporting HR generalist functions

• Experience with SAP a plus
• Prior media/television industry experience preferred
• Passion for Sports a plus
