Role Summary:
Dynamic and exciting opportunity to provide human resources support for the Corporate Functions of NBCUniversal. The Human Resources Generalist will act as the main point of contact and business partner for the California based Corporate and Functional HR teams (total of ~190 employees). In conjunction with the Director, HR, s/he will have responsibility for providing input into organization design, managing employee relations issues, ensuring a robust talent pipeline, supporting the performance management process, compensation planning, succession planning and all other HR initiatives for this population. This role will report directly into the Director, HR Corporate Functions, based out of New York.
Responsibilities:
• Build relationships with and provide generalist support to the California based Corporate and Functional HR teams and West Coast Page Program team.
• Collaborate with various HR teams and leaders to design and implement employee development programs
• Partner closely with the Director, HR to manage strategic initiatives for the HR function, including: employee engagement, retention, compensation/title analyses, employee relations matters, organizational structuring, career development & diversity programs
• Manage all day-to-day HR responsibilities, including: salary/bonus planning, on-boarding, off-boarding, performance management and reporting/analytics
• Process all HR transactions for California based employees. Act as a back-up for East Coast transactions.
• Partner with Director, HR to support Executives and their teams on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent enforcement of policies and practices
• Act as liaison between clients and core staff functions by assisting with rolling out new company/HR initiatives and communicating information relating to career development, recognition programs, payroll, benefits, training and staffing
• Provide ad hoc support to the Legal HR team, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required
• 3 years working within the HR function

• Experience with various HR systems and platforms, such as SAP and Brassring
