The HR Coordinator for Operational Staffing is responsible for timely, accurate data tracking of Universal Studio Hollywood's seasonal hires. This includes processing, maintaining and auditing all new hire documentation and union notifications. Additional responsibilities include resolving HR data issues and interfacing with Staffing, Labor Relations, Benefits, Payroll and other HR groups. This position supports the Operational Staffing group for USH by scheduling candidate interviews, tracking candidate statuses within our candidate tracking system, preparing and conducting on-boarding sessions. The position reports to the Sr. Manager, Operational Staffing.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
•Accurate input of data into Access database, including data validation.
•Acquire and maintain expertise in systems (SAP, workflow, Taleo, Excel and Access) and processes.
•Manage candidate tracking in Taleo and in Access database.
•High volume candidate interviewing and system hiring.
•Initiating background checks and reviewing reports.
•Facilitation of paperwork sessions.
•Initiate candidate on-boarding process including e-verify checks.
•Maintain personnel files.
•Run audit reports.
•Demonstrate knowledge of data and division supported.
•Respond to client inquiries within defined timeframes.
•Identify process improvement opportunities.
•Participate in special projects.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
•High School Diploma/GED Required. Bachelor's degree preferred; Human Resources, Business, Communication or related field preferred
•Minimum of one year experience in a fast-paced Human Resources environment or related field.
•Minimum of two years administrative experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
•Experience in data entry.
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
Bachelors in Human Resources Management or related field.
•Experience with SAP/HCM or SAP HR.
•Experience with Taleo or similar candidate tracking system.
•Experience with advanced Excel functions and database creation.
•Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
•Motivated to complete assignments/tasks with minimal supervision and follow-up.
•Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
•Ability to prioritize effectively, think independently and problem solve to ensure all deadlines are met and work is completed in an effective and timely manner

•Self-starter, motivated and proactive
•Strong organization skills, detail oriented, and ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments
•Ability to compile and analyze data.
