Responsibilities SUMMARY: Supports a specific area of the Human Resources Field Team Management by assisting with the daily administration of departmental activities that promote maintaining a positive working relationship between all Team Members and providing assistance and information regarding core HR functions. Serves as the first contact point for team members in issue identification and referral.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serves as the first contact point for team members in issue identification and referral; Provides general information to Team Members regarding policy interpretation, EAP concerns, Benefit, Payroll, Records inquiries and staffing needs. Refers team members to ER management or acts as a liaison with core HR partners as appropriate. Maintains communication with Team Members seeking HR guidance.
• Provides support to area Representatives, Supervisors and Managers by maintaining information specific to an area of Human Resources to track consistency and compliance with company standards; Generates and distributes reports such as, No Pay reports, Average Hours, Minors and weekly ER activity.
• Generates and distributes HR system reports for all operations management clients as requested.
• Completes Personnel Payroll Action (PPA) forms and Position Management Action/Addition forms. Ensures staffing requisitions, team member evaluations, team member counseling, and/or area related forms are completed accurately and distributed in a timely manner. Maintains field ER Files as applicable.
• Performs other responsibilities that are specific to the division/client supported, such as satellite team member services activities, within division staffing coordination and transfers, divisional organizational charts/reports, etc.
• Understands and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
SCOPE: Serves as the first contact point for team members in issue identification and referral. Supports a specific area of the Human Resources field team by serving as the point of contact in the administration, processing, dissemination of information including: employment, benefits, personnel records, payroll, training and development, employee services, or employee relations. Qualifications/Requirements QUALIFICATIONS:

RELATIONSHIPS OUTSIDE WORK UNIT: Exchange of information which occasionally requires tact and/or diplomacy.
Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
EDUCATION:
High school degree or GED is required. Associate's degree (AA) in Human Resources or related field preferred. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
EXPERIENCE:
1-3 Years: Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ON-THE-JOB TRAINING: Forty hours training required: Human Resources Processes: PPA/Records, Requisitions, Reviews, Training, HR Contacts.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:
• Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) sit for prolonged periods; talk; use hands and fingers to grip, pinch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; use repetition-using an input device-a keyboard or mouse-in a steady manner; maintain concentration/focus (e.g., ability to interpret the work environment and make decisions on predetermined operating policies and procedure).
• Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) stand and walk for prolonged periods (including ability to walk at a given pace that is predetermined by a moving sidewalk); climb stairs / ladders; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; reach, pull, push with hands and arms above/below head; repeat motions more than twice per minute; lift/push up to 20 pounds with control; use close vision with or without corrective lens. (clear vision at 20 inches or less); maintain alertness and attentiveness up to 4 hours while working varying hours; work in varied light conditions including low or diminished lighting ; adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus while in changing light conditions e.g., sunshine to indoor or dark conditions).
