Clerk II-Human Resources (Seasonal Assignment)
Responsibilities SUMMARY: Performs general office and administrative duties to support the Human Resources functions of the Wet n Wild property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Answers and/or fields phone calls, visitors and questions for the HR Management team with accuracy.
• Directs questions and/or people to the appropriate person and/or department (when applicable) and communicating the actions taken to The Human Resources Management team as a result.
• Communicates information in a timely and confidential manner to appropriate levels of leadership within the division as directed.
• Actively support the HR initiatives of the division to include assisting with Team Member Services events, assisting at the front desk, archiving files, filing/sorting and organizing Team Member files, scanning documents, etc.
• Inputs data and assembles documents utilizing appropriate applications/systems such as Peoplesoft, Kronos, Sharepoint, Microsoft Office programs etc.
• Prepares and/or distributes documents and reports as needed daily/weekly
• Ensures confidentiality and integrity of data and information.
• Maintains department files, tracking logs and records as needed for the department. Utilizes technology, such as computers and multi-function copier to perform general office duties. Verifies counseling
• Provides additional support as needed, which may include special projects, maintaining inventory and/or distributing tools and resources (i.e. Bravo awards, Say It Cards, Applauses,etc.).
• Partners with HR Coordinators for additional support as needed and to ensure consistency within the Human Resources Division.
• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:
• Strong organizational skills, effective communication skills, both oral and written
• Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• PeopleSoft, KRONOS and SharePoint
• Comfortable working weekends as needed
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment when archiving files
Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
EDUCATION:
• High school degree or GED is required. Associate's degree (AA) is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
• 1-3 year experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
• Valid Florida Driver's License
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:
• Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) talk; hear audible alarms, voice commands with background noise; use hands and fingers to grip, pinch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) stand for prolonged periods; walk for prolonged periods (including ability to walk at a given pace that is predetermined by a moving sidewalk); sit for prolonged periods; balance; reach, pull, push with hands and arms below head.
• Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) climb stairs/ladders; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; reach, pull, push with hands and arms above head; repeat motions more than twice per minute; lift up to 25 pounds with control; push up to 50 pounds with control; use close vision with or without corrective lens. (clear vision at 20 inches or less); use distance vision with or without corrective lens. (clear vision at 20 feet or more); use color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); use peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); use depth perception (vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); maintain alertness and attentiveness up to 4 hours while working varying hours; maintain concentration/focus (e.g., ability to interpret the work environment and make decisions on predetermined operating policies and procedure).
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:
• Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) work in outdoor weather conditions to include direct sunlight, heat or cold; use a motorized company vehicle or a leased or personal vehicle for company business; be exposed to loud noise levels (noise when raised conversation is needed).
