Executive-in-Charge of Production:
Seeking experienced Executive-in-Charge (EIC) of Production who will provide expertise and leadership to our Production department, as well as provide production-related executive-level support to our CEO.
The EIC will also:
• Lead the entire Production department;
• Provide guidance and expertise to our entire production team in regards to planning and executing big-budget original and branded content for broadcast and digital media;
• Plan, organize, and manage the production operations, logistical processes, and staffing of the Production department;
• Work closely with all of our production team members, executives, and partners to successfully scale and optimize production capabilities;
• Manage and supervise the project budget creation process while providing expertise and guidance to budget drafting team members;
• Oversee all aspects of production, and provide expertise toward the strategic planning and logistical execution of each production;
• Collaborate with Business and Legal Affairs to negotiate certain contracts and manage labor relations on each project;
• Supervise the delivery of all elements in accordance with negotiated licenses, rights, and clearances established for each project;
• Assess risk within each project, including insurance coverage, stunt-specific protocol, and other relevant considerations;
• Report directly to the CEO.
Skills & Experience Required:
• An ideal background includes 3-5+ years of previous EIC or similar experience in either a video production company or at a marketing / advertising agency;
• Extensive knowledge of managing large-scale and/or complex video productions or similar project-related agency work, both while managing a team from the office and while out in the field;
• Broad knowledge and experience in budgeting, negotiating top line crew and talent, R&C protocol, and project-related risk assessment
• Candidate must be able to provide leadership and clear direction, as well as guidance, training, and mentorship to a rapidly growing team
