Search for Production Manager jobs in Brooklyn-NY
We are currently seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic Production Manager to join our team ASAP.
Our Production Manager oversee our Production Coordinators and Assistants to ensure all PM needs for every job have been taken care of. Some day-to-day responsibilities are listed below:
•Review prelim shoot schedule to make sure logistical needs are planned in conjunction with Production Coordinators
•Review final gear orders and contracts on all jobs
•Oversee / facilitate location permits as needed
•Review crew hires
•Review catering options presented by PAs or PC's and advise on final decision
•Enforce Mustache accounting and financial procedures in regards to PC, payment methods and tracking
•Ensure all deal memos are final before shoot day, inform Producers of outstanding deal memos
•Update Producers on budget actuals in real time
•Review call sheet before submitting final to Producers for review
•Ensure expense trackers are updated and accurate (oversee coordinators on this)
•Create and review COIs, and coordinate with broker for other insurances as needed (ex: stunts, etc.)
•Manage tech coordinator / camera PA time and logistics over all jobs
•Manage internal gear and propose efficiencies over all jobs
•Coordinate freight elevator access with our building to get gear in & out
•Manage Mustache Van and rental logistics over all jobs
•Overseeing creation of preproduction books
•Manages Production Management templates
•Supervises travel plan / logistics
•Supervise Coordinators on permit applications and process
•Ensure coordinators have expendables planned out
•Scout locations with Producers for logistical plan (parking, power, load in, street access, etc.)
•Manage Petty Cash on larger jobs ($1,000 and more)
•Act as field producer on smaller jobs when needed
•Inform team of upcoming shoots / PM needs each Monday morning
•Update and manage the Production Shoot Calendar with all shoot dates, job number, and team associated with that shoot
