Join the # 1 most demanded music network that is revolutionizing how consumers watch music videos! Music Choice reaches millions of consumers nationwide through TV, online and mobile platforms. We are currently seeking a talented, enthusiastic Editorial Assistant for our New York City Office.
This is an entry-level position that offers the chance to learn the music broadcasting industry from the ground up.
Primary Accountabilities:
• Research, write, and fact check compelling, clear, relevant content that speaks to the core Music Choice audience across multi-platforms.
• Coordinate with editorial team to fully understand the ''feel'' and language of each music channel and show.
• Approve and edit user comments and user-submitted photos and video.
Qualifications:
• Student or college graduate.
• Must possess excellent writing and research skills combined with a sense of fun and humor.
• Must be organized and able to write within tight deadlines.
• Editorial, journalism, or web content experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of youth culture and pop music genres is a must!
• Fluency in written and spoken Spanish is a huge plus!
*** This position requires a 4-day, 40-hour workweek. Weekly schedule is flexible, but candidates must be available to work one day on a weekend. ***
