Qualified candidate must have direct music experience at a major production, film/television studio, television network, agency, publisher. Well seasoned Music Licensing Manager/Supervisor with years of experience, active accounts, and a huge network/pipeline of clients.
Ideal candidate would be responsible for pitching and clearance across various categories of entertainment including Commercials, TV, Film, TV and Trailers. Candidate must have verifiable and highly developed contacts within music supervisors, and is already added to creative briefs and distribution lists from Ad Agencies, Studios, TV Networks, Music Supervisors and Trailer Studios.
Qualified candidate MUST have active clients.
In details:
•Facilitate, negotiate, and close licensing deals for Music Blvd Group (including both frontline and catalog repertoire)
•Primarily responsible for reaching out to agencies, brands and music supervisors for their creative music needs
•Maintain information regarding licensing deals up to date (terms, stage, etc) in licensing database
. Managing, preparing, negotiating and reviewing licenses (master and sync, etc.)
Qualifications:
•Requires a minimum of three (3) years of experience in music licensing and at least five (5) years of experience within the music industry
•Knowledge of music licensing, including the industry terminology and language used to negotiate the material deal points of a master license agreement
•Knowledge of copyright as it relates to the music industry (on both the master and publishing side)
•Strong proficiency in computer software applications including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, iTunes, Quicktime Pro and iMovie
•Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently
•Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills
•Detail oriented, organized, timely and accurate
•Punctual, available to work overtime
