Promotions Producer / Editor

This is a Full Time Job

This position is responsible for conceptualizing, writing, producing and editing on-air promotions for News content. Responsibilities also include research, selection of pertinent footage, choose of music, recording VO and applying graphic elements to the promotions. Candidate should follow company best practices maintaining the network news overall quality and editorial principles.
Candidate remains informed of industry trends in video production and current news and information. Continuously develops knowledge and technical understanding of non-linear editing system and production

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent related experience, plus a minimum of 5+ years experience with promotions production and editing with non linear editing on Final Cut Pro and/or Avid.

Superb communication skills are needed, including the ability to write effective and creative on-air promotions in Spanish.
