Newscast Producer

The primary job responsibility of the Newscast Producer is to oversee the production and presentation of the news to the audience. The position shoulders the responsibility to select review and write news stories to ensure editorial consistency. The Newscast Producer coordinates segment producers, editors, photographers, coordinators and reporters to ensure the correct flow and presentation of the newscast. Candidate should enhance content of the rundown with video, graphics, and station branding. Perform the tasks to write news in a clear and comprehensive manner for multiple platforms and post the content to local stations. Manage day-to-day coverage, big stories and breaking news on-air

• Achieved bachelor's degree in Journalism or equivalent related degree, a minimum of 7+ years experience with news broadcast television.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed, including the ability to write effective and compelling stories in Spanish.
