This is a Full Time Job

This position supervises and coordinates activities of the News Room acting as a liaison with the exterior community. The Assignment Editor maintains fluid contact with outside news and government agencies, police and fire departments, and any other kind of news sources to obtain continuous information. Candidate confers with SVP News, Executive Producer and Producers to synchronize production activities to follow developing stories. Also, uses own criteria and experience to determine priorities and assigns coverage to news crews.

Bachelor's degree on Communication, Journalism or equivalent, plus a minimum of 5+ years experience on a News production or editorial environment.

Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed in Spanish and English.
