Description:
We are seeking a Community Manager whose primary role will be managing social media communities and developing strategy to promote feature films. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day management of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and other emerging channels. This includes writing and posting messages, monitoring and responding to fans, reporting, creative brainstorming, developing strategy, managing client relationships, etc.
You will also be looked upon for general social media expertise. As a dedicated social media expert, you will be expected to understand the dynamics of all the different social media environments and be able to navigate the space comfortably. Other responsibilities will include educating the agency on social, building PowerPoint presentations, writing POVs, project management, research, calculating ROI, and evangelizing social media throughout the agency.
Position Purpose:
You will be responsible for the management of the social media communities 20th Century Fox.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
•Day-to-day management of social media communities (i.e. Facebook, Twitter).
•Writing and creating content for social media.
•Producing campaign content calendars to be shared and approved by the client
•Serve as liaison between internal departments on social media initiatives.
•Assist with development and management of social media strategy. Includes helping determine project goals, research, measurement, brainstorming, reporting, etc.
•Manage, initiate and supervise 3rd party relationships and partners in the space.
•Listening, managing and responding to conversations in the social media space.
•Stay up to date on new social media tools, best practices and innovations in the space.
•Other responsibilities, as assigned.
Nature and Scope:
Reports to SVP Digital Media with oversight from Social Strategy lead.
This position may have direct and indirect reports to Client Partner.
Job Requirements:
Minimal travel; Will require on-site meetings at client locations
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree
Years of Relevant Experience:
2-3 Years
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to Use Social Media Tools Required
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies:
•2-3 years social media, interactive marketing, media or PR experience.
•Experience and passion for health, beauty and fashion a must.
•Understanding of social media landscape, how it works, who’s important, how to leverage it.
•Personally and/or professionally active on major platforms in the social media space (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Wordpress, etc.).
•Must be a digital native and live and breathe Internet culture.
•Must be ambitious, self-driven, personable, social, and have a positive attitude.
•Exceptional written and oral presentation skills required.
•Energetic and inspirational presentation style.
•Must be passionate, highly driven and highly motivated to help us build the next great agency.
•University degree required.
•Passion for emerging media and technology.
•Ability to inspire the talent and creativity of team members.
