MPC is a high-end post production Advertising and Previs facility. Reception holds a key client services and production role, providing the highest standards of assistance and support to clients and employees. Reception exposes you to every department and equips you for any career path. If you are enthusiastic, hard working and have a passion for creative digital media, visual effects, production or film, we would love to hear from you! Our preference would be for media graduates or candidates with relevant experience in other areas of the industry.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Open and prepare office for the day
• Maintain order and presentation of 4th floor reception desk
• Help uphold and keep VFX suites clean and presentable
• Greet clients and make sure they are comfortable
• Assist with making coffee for clients
• Receive, direct and relay phone calls
• Assist with Human Resources and new hire paperwork
• Help coordinate office activities
• Log data in and out along with properly sending out tapes and drives to correct locations via?couriers
• Complete a variety of types of shipments and enter costs to jobs in Ceta
• Assist in managing team to ensure proper treatment for clients and artists
• Book a high level of International and Domestic Travel
• Maintain security by following procedures and issuing badges
• Complete expense reports
• Validate parking tickets
• Coordinate mail flow in and out of office
• Maintain a positive, nothing is too much attitude - happy to go the extra mile
Experience, Skills and Minimum Requirements:
• 3-5 years experience in customer service, event coordinating, catering, or restaurant hospitality
• High school diploma or equivalent - Some college preferred
• Have the ability to work well in a team environment / self-motivated
• Proficient with Word and Excel in both PC and Mac
• Ability to learn Ceta basics for data entry
• Ability to work and stay productive with minimal supervision
• Must work well with others and maintain a team mentality
• Excellent communication skills
• Punctual and detail oriented
• Able to work a flexible schedule with the availability to work overtime and some weekends
• Outgoing personality
• Work well under pressure
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented and have the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
