MPTF (Motion Picture & Television Fund) is a 90 year-old charitable organization dedicated exclusively to the health and well-being of entertainment industry workers and their families. MPTF provides social and charitable services, quality healthcare, senior care and services, and much more.
The Director, Marketing and Communications is a full time position responsible for developing and executing MPTF's branding, messaging and promotional strategies to ensure the organization's growth and the success of individual service lines and fundraising efforts.
This position works collaboratively with senior management to develop appropriate communications targeted to constituent audiences and acts as the clearinghouse for all organizational messaging. The Director, Marketing and Communications leads department staff in accordance with MPTF policies, procedures, and standards. Demonstrates the administrative and management skills necessary to organize and direct a comprehensive marketing/communications department and its staff.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, journalism or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in marketing and communications
• 3 years of management experience in a not-for-profit environment.
• Strong technology skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and digital technology.
