JOB SUMMARY:
The Graphic Designer for Moguldom Media Group will be responsible for developing the stylistic direction and creative concepts for MMG's websites, Editorial, and Video divisions. Their role will encompass a strong understanding of graphic design, digital communications, mobile design, advertising, and digital publishing. In the leadership space, the Senior Designer will be expected to create and execute strategically sound, integrated, multimedia campaigns and projects. They will also be responsible for coaching and managing any junior design staff.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide expert art direction to the visual elements of creative projects, including web IA/UX, banners, presentation decks, brand identity, print collateral, etc.
- Establish consistent visual standards across our sites and marketing materials.
- Create and manage design work, artwork, and/or photography in support of MMG platforms.
- Provide regular art direction and design feedback to the design and creative teams.
- Manage and complete multiple projects within the scope of project deadlines.
- Work independently and within a team to reach individual and department goals
- Work closely with MMG's Chief Creative Officer, Engineering & Development, Editorial and Creative to execute a broad array of graphic design needs
- Source, oversee and manage creative vendors
- Manage all digital creative assets and ensure they're accurate and updated.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5+ years of Design experience, preferably at an agency or digital media/publishing.
- Self-sufficiency, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- BFA or equivalent in Design, Marketing, or related field.
- Strong creative concepting, design and communication skills, evidenced by a diverse portfolio of work.
- Ability to communicate and present creative/visual concepts, and the design rationale behind them.
- Ability to work quickly, multi-task, and under tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail.
- Fluency in the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects; Keynote and MS Office.
- Working knowledge of CSS/HTML, Basecamp, Balsamiq, and WordPress is a plus, but not required.
- Must be able to travel and work in our Atlanta office on occasion.
