JOB SUMMARY:
A Production Intern will assist the branded video team with shoots, administrative work, reporting, video optimization, and promotional planning.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Work closely with the branded video team on assisting with creating innovative and new content.
Assist the team on video shoots with setting up equipment and operating DSLRs and audio.
Stay abreast on digital and pop culture trends with intimate knowledge of the latest and greatest in emerging technology/platforms.
Assist the Executive Producer with digital media management, reporting and analytics, legal documentation and any necessary paperwork.
Research for pre-production and post-production purposes.
Assisting Producers with the production and promotional planning processes.
Assist the Executive Producer with optimization of videos and the launch planning processes.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Studies, Communication or related field
At least 3 years' experience in Microsoft Office Suite
At least 1 year of experience in Final Cut Pro/Adobe Premiere
Extraordinarily computer savvy.
Interest in creating branded video content for the African American audience.
Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, team environment and take direction.
Experience with creating video content.
Must be familiar with DSLR video production processes.
Must be familiar with standard lighting/audio production equipment.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal, time management skills and attention to detail.
Must be able to help with the brainstorming/ideation process for original video content.
