Start-up Broadcast Company seeks Post-Production Supervisor with excellent AE knowledge.
We are a new TV broadcast network working out of Culver City. Our network focuses on Asian Pop for the English speaking market. We cover topics like KPop, KDramas, Anime and pop culture in general.
Our new TV network is looking for an experienced Supervisor with experience in working for a Broadcast Network. Must understand Broadcast Specs, XSAN organization as well as scheduling editors, overseeing network scheduling and managing media and workflow. It's a task that will take an organized, patient soul. The content has a variety of ranges and codecs and a tech savvy mind is the key. The rate begins at $1200/week, but is negotiable and commiserate to experience.
Tasks will include:
Overseeing/QC'ing edits (tech, not creative)
-Knowing broadcast specs and coordinating with master control
-XSAN organization (Many shows, Many ads, Misc Projects)
-General troubleshooting & IT
-AE Knowledge on FCP and Premiere
-Scheduling editors on edit bays overseeing deadlines
-Overseeing network scheduling
-Design and oversee workflows and manage media for many shows at once
-Being able to edit all of our shows and promos
