Position Description and Responsibilities:
This position requires a dynamic, hands-on manager of production. Your primary objective will be to craft and execute Clubcast events remotely with venue clients around the world, as well as locally in LA at the Mixify HQ studio. The role requires a high level of technical knowledge and attention to aesthetics to ensure seamless, premium experiences. You will report directly to the COO and be responsible for owning the technical and aesthetic production of Mixify Clubcasts, so it is an exciting hands-on role. As Clubcast launches in several overseas markets, your productions will be reaching all corners of the world.
Preferred Background (some or all of the following):
- 2-5 years of live production experience with a particular focus on visual displays and in-venue sound
- Competent in professional nightclub sound and lighting engineering (familiar with industry standard softwares, audio and lighting consoles, etc)
- Production design experience, eye for aesthetics is helpful
- Comfortable with green screen technology
- Excellent inter-personal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
This position will be focused on our Clubcast events, and will be a key player in the organization as a member of a small, yet growing team.
The Challenge:
In the near term, this position will be responsible for managing and driving all aspects of Clubcast event production including
- Venue assessment + production guidance for clients
- Mixify studio production and setup
- Technical testing and maintenance
- Clubcast orientation sessions to prepare clients for events
- Overall management of the flow of Clubcast events on day of show
In the long term, this individual will be positioned to become a key player in an industry with multi-billion dollar potential. This will include participation in a truly authentic start-up experience, participating in building infrastructure, teams and processes from scratch; and reaping long term professional relationships, skills and financial rewards.
