Summary
The Inventory Manager is responsible for supporting all servicing and delivery operations by providing knowledge and evaluations of Miramax library of physical, picture and sound source elements and library storage file inventories required for distribution of library titles. This individual will actively assist in managing and organizing digital inventory assets as well as management of DAM (Digital Asset Management) systems
Responsibilities
• Responsible for staging and sorting entire library of storage files by department codes and designated box status
• Responsible for assisting in the transfer of library assets from various facilities holding library materials to Miramax ran facilities
• Responsible for circulating weekly vault Inventory for all library assets in laboratory joint account for licensed Home Entertainment partners
• Responsible for researching through document database for picture title acquisition and distributor license information in order to chase and receive digital clone copies for missing master materials
• Duties include specific technical correspondence to licensed distributors with source element history and conversion options available to produce a high quality finished product
• Provides Letter of Authorizations and One Time Laboratory access agreements to laboratory Business Affairs departments as requested and approved by Miramax executives
• Regularly maintains inventory records within established Miramax systems
• Facilitates pull requests for legal documentation boxes from multiple departments.
• Assists in the research of foreign language materials to support ongoing digital platform deals and servicing needs as a whole
• Supports IT Dept. in the ingestion of inventory data to internal inventory systems
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of directly related experience required
• Knowledge of 35mm Picture and Sound Elements
• Knowledge of High Definition, Standard Definition and Digital File formats including 5.1 audio configurations
• Must be able to work independently and thrive in a high volume work environment
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively communicate with laboratory personnel and vendors
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required
• Experience with FilmTrack/InvenTrack systems a plus
