We are Mini-Maven, an online destination for the stylish child and parent that curates content musings with a multi-faceted, unique approach. Founded by noted Photographer + Creative Director, Kymberly Marciano-a fashion insider, trend watcher and creative force to several publications-the #minimaven series was created. At Mini-Maven, a narrative behind each story is present; a foundation of originally curated interviews and innovative fashion editorials sit front and center, with a photographic journal of children dressed in top coveted fashion brands you can shop immediately are constantly updated. Innovative fashion culture and inspiration are the foundation for each story, seamlessly celebrating all things we love for the little ones and their modern world.
Mini-Maven is looking for a creative and strategically minded, in house blogger/social media intern who can help manage our client's digital presence. We would love someone who is energetic, youthful and has experience in digital marketing/social media engagement and a related experience in marketing, communication or advertising. This position requires current knowledge of the digital marketing environment and social media success and someone who can work efficiently under pressure without handholding. Must be knowledgeable in full adobe suite and all social media platforms and have a laptop with photo shop and in design.
Requirements/ Responsibilities:
• MUST be savvy and very familiar with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Wordpress**
• Strong knowledge of different color space and file extensions
• Eagerness to learn project management in a client service environment
• Strong knowledge of ALL social platforms
• Must be resourceful
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, copy-editing and proof-reading skills required
• Ambitious, self-starter who is comfortable working independently or with a team when needed
• Exceptional organizational skills a MUST
• Must have a reliable Car/Way of getting to work
• Must have laptop with current software
• Assist in engaging and maintain online communities.
• Assist in promotions and contests, craft compelling copy that resonates with the target audience, engage communities on daily/hourly basis
• Assist with editorial calendars/short copy/messaging/content that creatively stimulates communities while maintaining an authentic voice consistent with brand positioning; plan and administer social media advertising campaigns (i.e. Facebook, Twitter).
• Heavy desire to work and learn in the creative industry
• Team player, positive attitude, and sense of urgency
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
