Full Time Unpaid Internship
Summary:
This position is an internship with the Milwaukee Bucks Fan Experience department and will be responsible for assisting with the creation and implementation of an elevated fan experience, standards and procedures, internal/external guest services staff training, and game night programs. Ideal candidates would be a team player, focused on guest service, able to multi-task, and work in a fast paced environment.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reports to Executive Vice President of Operations
• Administrative support
• Assist in creating pre-season training
• Assist in Partner Relations
• Assisting in create a culture of service excellence
• Help develop new and fun programs to enhance game night experience
• Assist in department daily duties
• Guest Services research projects
• Assist with creation and update of departmental and game night policies and procedures
• Attend, assist, and note in critical development meetings
• Help create game night checklists, standards and programs
• Help identify and create in-arena messaging, signage and photo opportunities
Qualification Requirements:
• College Student or Recent Graduate in a related field: marketing, sports management, communication, business, or hospitality
• Possess a strong ability to manage one’s own time and prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals and objectives
• Able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when privy to sensitive information
• Be a flexible and reliable team player, both within Fan Experience department and the company as a whole
• Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Presents self in professional manner and has the ability to interact with all levels of organization and outside contacts
• Dependability – consistently at work on time, follows instructions, responds to manager’s instructions.
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays
• Strong Microsoft and Computer Skills
• Creative mind set with the ability to think quickly
• Excellent communication skills
