Graphic Designer/Creative Services Coordinator (Marketing)

Mills Entertainment produces and promotes alternative and branded live entertainment. Our tours visit theaters, arenas, and other venues throughout the US and around the world. We work with top entertainers and properties to develop and market exciting and original live fan experiences. Our partners rely on us to protect their brands in the live entertainment business, and to maximize their revenue in this space by developing progressive and effective marketing campaigns.
We are looking for a Creative Services Coordinator to oversee the creation and evolution of our marketing assets. Generally, our creative work is outsourced to freelancers. This Creative Services Manager will be the point of contact, coordinating among fellow team members and designers to accomplish our goals. This individual will also be tasked with executing some of the design work in-house.
Our typical asset package includes logos, key art, decks, web sites, ad mats, poster art, :30 TV spots, sizzle reels, etc.
Job Duties include:
• Serve as the hub of all communication between internal teams, freelance designers, and clients
• Create design briefs to identify the strategy, objectives, guidelines, and standards for creative deliverables
• Oversee the planning and design of Consumer and B2B marketing assets, ensuring that they meet brand standards and achieve their marketing goals
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to design and execute engaging creative deliverables for advertising, collateral development, and online marketing in a B2B environment
• Ensure that our creative is ''on-brand'' for our clients and the company
• Execute some graphic design (this position will be a mix of design work and managing the design process - the specific mix of design and management will be determined based on the employee's unique strengths)
• Execute some video work (basic video editing including the ability to localize TV spots and edit footage)
• Develop ''best in class'' creative materials
• Oversee, review, and evaluate design concepts and marketing solutions for cost, quality, and effectiveness
• Perform work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment that requires meeting time-sensitive deadlines for print publication and internet transmission - requires a great deal of interaction and coordination with supervisors and peers in Marketing and Creative Services
Requirements:
• 5+ years design experience executing marketing and design projects
• Proactive ''out-of-the-box'' thinker - ability to learn latest design techniques/trends and integrate into work
• High level of typographic skill/accustomed to executing high-end designs with creative and professional typography
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely and a willingness to share ideas with individuals at all levels
• Strong problem solving skills, ability to understand and identify key strategic issues, and develop creative design solutions to assignments
• Experience enforcing branding/identity style guide
• Develop effective creative that is consistent, accurate, and in compliance with established formats and protocols
• Proficient with latest Adobe Creative Suite software, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver and Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook - both Mac and Windows environments
• Highly-organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Bachelor's degree; BFA or equivalent in design, marketing, and/or communication preferred
• Ability to handle day-to-day responsibilities with minimal supervision; needs to be organized and self-directed; prioritizes and completes standard tasks within deadlines
• Perform work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment that requires meeting time-sensitive deadlines for publications and clients
