Full Time Unpaid Internship
Description of the Internship: Responsible for updating graphics/multimedia and helping to create regular content for HEAT.com, Miami HEAT Mobile App and AAArena.com pages daily. Responsibilities include formatting photos, providing written basketball content for Web and Mobile as assigned by supervisor, creating graphics for contests, assisting in researching new technologies, helping in the creation, execution and fulfillment of online contests, uploading and deployment of graphics to the world-wide web, transcribing audio and assisting Internet Services employees in other duties.
Candidate must be a enrolled in a College/University; One to two years related experience and/or training preferred. Ability to monitor and handle multiple tasks. Time management skills needed. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines. Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office programs and have working knowledge of HTML. Sportswriting/Journalism experience and/or experience with advanced basketball statistics preferred. Passion for basketball highly recommended. Must have a flexible schedule capable of fitting in work hours during days and nights, including weekends. Not a 9-5 office position.
